Strategy

Working closely with Werklig, who delivered the brand design, the overall concept is deeply rooted in the history and architecture of the building. Central to the concept is the fusion of classical architectural elements with bold art deco influences drawn from New York’s vibrant restaurant scene – the perfect balance between traditional and radical.

Delivery

The visuality of the space is shaped by the layers of different styles and eras. With nods to the past and present, the carefully mixed classical and modern elements reflect the restaurant’s ethos. Whimsical and unexpected details contribute to the overall ambiance. Emphasizing a synergy between culinary and space, the concept is based on creating a welcoming yet refined neighbourhood eatery, where culinary delights and youthful ambiance intertwine effortlessly, just like the owners and operators Teemu Laurell and Lennart Sukapää had visioned.
