The University of Helsinki celebrates its 375th anniversary year in 2015. In celebration of the anniversary year, meeting points were built on the campus areas of Viikki, Kumpula and Meilahti. These spaces were designed to serve as a platform for working, meeting and holding events for both students of the university and visitors.
The aim was to create a coherent look, which would go together with the anniversary year’s overall theme and could be easily modified to fit the needs and architecture of different campus areas. The modular fixed furniture was made by the university’s in-house carpenters.
